Mind the Gap

Mind the Gap

Every direct shift from duality into unity occurs on the playing field of the GAP. (no intentional or unintentional reference to any clothing company implied) When we create contracts to perceive through lenses of separation, we create this alleged gap in consciousness.

How and why do we do this? In order to have incarnate experience, we create parameters or filters within the Infinite. We contract to perceive and experience within these limits. This creates a ‘lifetime’ of potential experience.  When we syndicate these limits, we create lifetimes, plural. Part of setting limits is agreeing to participate within them…until we learn what we wanted to have them teach us. The sticky stuff happens when we agree to believe that this separation, or gap, between what is REAL and what we have agreed to experience, actually exists. WE forget what is true in order to perceive and believe in a certain way.  We do this in order to understand these types or bandwidths of perception. In other words, we create perceptual filters, ways of seeing things, in order to experience them to gain understanding. Why? That answer is unique to each of us.

Bluescreen World

Bluescreen World

This is a bluescreen world.

Visualize actors on a bluescreen stage. There are facsimiles of a partial stageset and props and the actors go through the motions as though they were interacting with situations, people, places and things. The better the actor, the more believable the virtual doubling, the situations, the outcome we call education or entertainment.  Wave a light sabre at the corner of a soundstage and your opponent is created virtually, just for that moment, in absolute harmony and collaboration with the action. Easier using CGI than being on location with a bazillion takes and per diem catering for hordes of extras. And the costuming!  Well, that is all part of the fun, is it not?  You wear the costume for your particular character and have fun doing it (unless it weighs a ton, is made of heavy materials and you’re shooting in the Sahara - or maybe you thought you deserved a good penance scenario?).

A Question of Faith

A Question of Faith

Intuition and complete trust in the Divine to act in and through us is the order of the NOW. This sets up a dilemma in our rational and unconscious minds.  The why of the dilemma is partly historical in nature.  (yes, really)  Prior to the Industrial Revolution, when Newtonian physics identified us as thinking machines and turned education into a system that churns out robots, the world at large operated on what was known as faith.  In those times, faith meant that an illiterate public was literally forced to trust in the clerics to interpret the ‘word of God’ for them, to tell them how to think and behave, and to enforce this through whatever means necessary.  (eesh)
